We are proudly serving the best of Turkish Cuisine as well as dishes of region that shares waters of azure Mediterranean Sea such as Italian, Middle-Eastern, or Greek. Turkish cuisine is very rich thanks to the location of Turkey: the famous crossroad of ancient and medieval civilizations and the extensive heritage of Ottoman Empire. Carefully selected dishes of our restaurant’s menu are all homemade, made of fresh hand-picked ingredients, and made up to order. We don't use any processed foods or preservatives while preparing our meals. All vegetables and meat are of the highest quality, and of course our meat and chicken are halal, fish always fresh, spices imported from far Turkey. We like to keep our food healthy in order to follow fresh, authentic Mediterranean style. Alihan's is a family owned restaurant which brings authentic taste of Turkey to Pittsburgh’s downtown. We are originally from the city Rize in Black Sea region where we grow tea in the mountains. Also, we used to have a restaurant in Istanbul, close to Marmara Sea. We cook what we love and with love to make our guests happy.
